Kel

Kel are the aquatic sub-species of dragon on Alteria, though they are not exclusively water-bound, they are amphibious and linger close to water. Their scales are smooth and slick(not slimy) and their bodies are perfected for swiftly darting through the water. Somewhat akin to salamander or axolotl in appearance, they top out at three feet tall, six feet long, and their horns are always short if at all present. Tendrils are not uncommon around the back or sides of their head, and most possess two on their back that function as grabbers in place of their webbed hands or feet. Their tails are long, simi-flat, and act as a rudder, being taller than they are wide. Their coloration is often brown, black, blues, or greens with few variations and combinations. Their eyes are fairly large and have a protective translucent eyelid for when they swim or bite.
