Taur is a general term for any of the races of Alteria that have a humanoid upper half, and feral animal lower half. The three most prevalent are Horse, Feline, and Deer. Coloration and pattern tends to remain similar to the lower half's relative.

Racial Traits:
-hearty and strong with great endurance
-capable of carrying up to 240lbs on their back.
-felitaur are excellent climbers.
-can reach speeds of 43mph
Social: About as socially diverse as humans, though they tend to stay in more taur-friendly areas as far as buildings and crowds go.
